Battery and range
Tell us the range the car shows at a full charge and what you get in daily driving. Battery wear is normal and grows with age and mileage. A screenshot of the range at 100 percent helps.
The Model 3 was one of the best-selling cars in the Netherlands in 2019, and many of those cars are now on the used market. Battery condition and the version decide most of the value.
Deliveries of the Model 3 in the Netherlands started in 2019. Many early cars were company cars, because electric cars had a low company car tax rate at the time. Those cars now often have high mileage and a known service history at Tesla.
There are three main versions: the rear wheel drive car (first called Standard Range Plus), the Long Range with dual motor all wheel drive, and the Performance. An updated Model 3, with a new front, interior and suspension, arrived at the end of 2023. The register and the plate tell us the year and version.

No price estimates here, because a number published today is wrong by next month. This is what we actually look at.

Rear wheel drive, Long Range and Performance are valued differently, and so are the early cars and the updated version from late 2023.
Enhanced Autopilot or Full Self-Driving, if bought for the car, are worth mentioning. Tell us exactly what the car shows under its software settings.
The Model 3 is a heavy car and wears tyres faster than a small petrol car. Mention the tyre condition, any chips in the glass roof or windscreen, and kerbed wheels.
Your plate gives us the basics. These are the things only you can tell us.
Before the handover, remove the car from your Tesla account in the app or on the Tesla website, and remove your phone as a key. The car then no longer shows in your account, and the next owner can add it to theirs.
We ask for the range the car shows at a full charge and look at it against the age and mileage. A screenshot of the charging screen helps.
If you pay road tax (motorrijtuigenbelasting) on the car, it stops by itself once the car is out of your name, and the Belastingdienst refunds what you paid in advance.
You need your registration card (kentekencard), both parts of the registration code (tenaamstellingscode), a valid passport or ID card and all the car keys. If the car still has the old paper registration from before 2014, bring that instead of the card. We take care of the RDW transfer, and you receive the proof of transfer (vrijwaringsbewijs), which shows the car is no longer in your name.
Enter your number plate and mileage. Asking is free and you are not committing to anything.
