No Dutch forms on your own
From your first question to the proof of transfer. You will not need to read a Dutch form on your own or ask someone to translate a phone call.
Selling a car here is straightforward once you know the steps. It gets harder when the forms and the conversations are in a language you are still learning. This site exists for that situation.
Many people live in the Netherlands without Dutch as their first language. Many of them buy a car soon after they arrive and sell it a few years later, often while they are also organising a move.
Selling means dealing with the registration code ()tenaamstellingscodeA nine digit code in two parts that you need to transfer a car out of your name., the transfer at the RDWThe Dutch vehicle authority, which keeps the register of every car and its owner. and the proof of transfer ()vrijwaringsbewijsThe document that shows the car is no longer registered in your name.. Each of these is routine for someone who grew up here, and new to most people who did not.
So we take care of that part. This site is written in English from the start, for people selling a car here for the first time.

From your first question to the proof of transfer. You will not need to read a Dutch form on your own or ask someone to translate a phone call.
A member of our team reads your answers and looks at your photos. If something is unclear, we ask you before we make the offer.
Your offer is based on the details you gave us, and we tell you which ones mattered. If you think we have it wrong, tell us and we will look at it again.
Asking costs nothing and commits you to nothing. If you do not reply to an offer, we send one reminder email and leave it there.
Each route suits a different situation. It mostly depends on how much time you have.
This usually brings the most money and takes the most work. You write the advert, answer the messages, arrange viewings at your home and handle the transfer yourself, mostly in Dutch. It can take weeks, and it is easier to make a mistake when you cannot read the details of what you are agreeing to.
This is quick and simple when you are buying your next car from the same dealer. The trade-in price and the price of the new car are agreed together, so it can be hard to see what you got for your old car.
You receive one offer. We transfer the car at the RDW on the spot and pay you at the handover. A patient private sale can bring more, and we say that plainly. With us you get a fixed amount and a handover day you choose.
If something is unclear, ask before you fill anything in. No question is too basic, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Yes. Every email, message and phone call is in English, from your first question to the handover. When a Dutch document is involved, we tell you what it is and what to do with it.
No. Asking is free and you are not committing to anything.
We look at what the register says about the car, what you told us about its condition, and what that model is worth on the Dutch market now. Photos help, because they let us judge your car itself.
Tell us. You can suggest an amount of your own on your offer page and we will look at it properly. If we cannot agree to it, we tell you so.
Enter your number plate and mileage. Asking is free and you are not committing to anything.
