Selling your car anywhere in the Netherlands

We buy cars across the whole country and collect them wherever they are. The cities below have a page of their own.

We cover the whole country

We buy cars in every part of the Netherlands. The cities below have their own page because many international residents live there. Everywhere else works the same way.

You do not need to bring the car anywhere. We agree a time with you, look at the car together where it is parked and handle the RDW transfer with you.

Some local rules do differ, such as environmental zones for older diesel cars and parking permits. Each city page explains what applies there and links to the municipality.

What the handover involves

You pick the day

Once you have accepted an offer, we agree a day and time that suit you. If your plans change, for example because a flight moves, tell us and we find a new date.

Free collection anywhere in the Netherlands

Your home, your office, a car park or a storage garage. Tell us where the car is parked, and mention gates, barriers and height limits when you ask, so we can plan for them.

Cars that do not drive

If the car will not start, or its APK (the Dutch roadworthiness test) has expired, it may not be driven away. Tell us when you ask, because it changes the vehicle we send. We still buy the car.

The paperwork

We check the car together and transfer it out of your name at the RDW on the spot. You receive the proof of transfer (vrijwaringsbewijs) and are paid at the handover.

Towns without a page

Most towns do not have a page of their own, and that makes no difference.

We buy cars in all twelve provinces, from Zeeland to Limburg and from Friesland to Twente. Enter your number plate and you receive an offer in the same way. If the car is parked somewhere hard to reach, such as a courtyard that needs a key or a barn on a farm, tell us when you ask and we will plan for it.

Questions about collection

Do you collect the car?

Yes, free of charge and anywhere in the Netherlands. Tell us where the car is parked and whether it drives, so we can plan the day.

How does the handover work?

We agree a time and place with you. We check the car together and transfer it out of your name at the RDW on the spot. You are paid at the handover, and you receive the proof of transfer (vrijwaringsbewijs) the same day.

What if the car does not start?

Tell us in the form. A car that does not drive is worth less, and we can still make an offer. We then arrange a way to collect it that does not depend on it driving.

I am leaving the Netherlands. When should I sell?

Before you deregister from your municipality (gemeente), if you can. Selling while you still live here is simpler, and it stops the road tax and insurance on a car you no longer use.

When do I get paid?

At the handover. Once we have checked the car and transferred it out of your name at the RDW, we pay you straight away.
