No environmental zone for passenger cars
Eindhoven has no environmental zone (milieuzone) for passenger cars, so your car's emission class does not limit where you can drive in the city.
Environmental zones by city (milieuzones.nl, in Dutch)Eindhoven and the towns around it attract engineers and researchers from all over the world, usually on contracts of a few years. A car bought on arrival often has to be sold on the way out.
The Eindhoven region, known as Brainport, is built around high tech industry: ASML in Veldhoven, the High Tech Campus, Eindhoven University of Technology and the companies that supply them. Work is spread across campuses and industrial sites, so most people here drive every day.
Cars here are used, they cover distance, and they are usually looked after, because people rely on them to get to work. That counts in your favour.
A relocation comes with a fixed last day, and the car is often the last thing to be arranged. Ask for an offer a few weeks before you need to act on it.

Local rules change, so check the municipality's website for anything official. Each note links to its source.

Environmental zones by city (milieuzones.nl, in Dutch)Cars often change hands between people on the same contract. If you have little paperwork because of that, tell us. What matters is that the car is registered in your name and that you have both parts of the registration code (tenaamstellingscode).
Some cars here are driven in all three countries. That is fine, as long as the car has a Dutch registration in your name. If your car is on Belgian or German plates, tell us at the start and we will tell you whether we can help.
We arrange the collection with you in Eindhoven and the surrounding towns. Many people here live in one place and work in another, so tell us where the car is parked and when, and we plan the handover there.
If your street or town is not on these lists, you can still ask for an offer. We buy cars in every province.
No. What matters is that the car is registered in your name in the RDW register and that you have your registration card (kentekencard) and both parts of the registration code (tenaamstellingscode).
Tell us at the start. The process on this site is built around cars with a Dutch registration, which can be transferred in the RDW register. For a car on foreign plates, we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
Yes. Tell us the date when you accept the offer and we plan the handover with you around it.
We look at what the register says about the car, what you told us about its condition, and what that model is worth on the Dutch market now. Photos help, because they let us judge your car itself.
Enter your number plate and mileage. Asking is free and you are not committing to anything.
