Hybrid, plug-in or electric
The three versions are valued as different cars. For a plug-in or electric Niro, the battery and the charging equipment matter most.
The Niro was sold in the Netherlands as a hybrid, a plug-in hybrid and a fully electric car. Which one you have makes the biggest difference to the value.
The first generation Niro arrived in 2016 as a hybrid. A plug-in hybrid followed in 2017, and the electric e-Niro in 2018. The electric version was popular in the Netherlands as a company car. The second generation, from 2022, again comes as a hybrid, a plug-in hybrid and the electric Niro EV.
All versions are compact crossovers with an automatic gearbox. Your number plate tells us the generation and the drivetrain, so you do not need to look it up.

No price estimates here, because a number published today is wrong by next month. This is what we actually look at.

For an electric Niro, tell us the range the car shows at a full charge and what you get in daily use. Some wear is normal with age and mileage.
Kia gave many Niros a long factory warranty. Whether any of it is left depends on the first registration date, the mileage and the service history. A dealer service record makes this easy to check.
Mention whether you have the charging cable that came with the car, and any extras such as a towbar or winter wheels.
Your plate gives us the basics. These are the things only you can tell us.
Yes. Tell us the range at a full charge, the mileage and whether you have the charging cable. A screenshot of the range helps.
It can help. Tell us whether the car has been serviced at a Kia dealer, and send a photo of the service record if you have one.
We look at what the register says about the car, what you told us about its condition, and what that model is worth on the Dutch market now. Photos help, because they let us judge your car itself.
You need your registration card (kentekencard), both parts of the registration code (tenaamstellingscode), a valid passport or ID card and all the car keys. If the car still has the old paper registration from before 2014, bring that instead of the card. We take care of the RDW transfer, and you receive the proof of transfer (vrijwaringsbewijs), which shows the car is no longer in your name.
Enter your number plate and mileage. Asking is free and you are not committing to anything.
